Hello, I'm Helen.

I'm a primary educator with over 30 years of teaching experience in the UK, Singapore and Hong Kong. Working with children and families from many cultural and educational backgrounds, I've seen first-hand how emotional wellbeing underpins learning, behaviour and long-term success.

I'm a certified facilitator of Tuning in to Kids®, evidence-based parenting programmes developed at the University of Melbourne. My work helps adults build practical emotion-coaching skills, so children can understand, express and regulate their emotions in healthy ways.

Drawing on my classroom experience and my work with parents, I bring a warm, realistic and highly practical approach to every session. I understand the pressures modern families face, and I create a supportive, non-judgemental space where parents and educators can reflect, learn and build confidence in responding to children's feelings.

The Benefits of Emotion Coaching

Stronger connection

Notice, understand and respond to your child's feelings with empathy, building trust and open communication.

Emotional intelligence

Children learn to understand and express what they feel in healthy ways.

Self-regulation

A life skill that supports independence and confidence in the world.

Resilient problem-solving

Once feelings are heard, children find their own solutions and grow in self-reliance.

Kind words

"Reaching every parent in the room regardless of where they were in their parenting journey."
